Spray Foam Technician
Location: Rindge, NH
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
Colonial Insulation is seeking an experienced Spray Foam Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable professionals with at least three years of spray foam insulation experience who take pride in quality workmanship, jobsite safety, and working efficiently as part of a crew.
Qualified lead technicians should be comfortable operating their own spray foam rig, managing day-to-day jobsite responsibilities, and directing crew members to help ensure projects are completed safely, cleanly, and to company standards.
This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the spray foam trade and is ready to take ownership of their work.
Responsibilities
- Operate spray foam equipment and insulation rigs safely and efficiently
- Apply spray foam insulation according to project specifications and company standards
- Prepare work areas before installation and maintain a clean jobsite
- Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and application issues in the field
- Follow proper safety procedures and use required protective equipment
- Communicate with supervisors, customers, builders, and other crew members as needed
- Lead and direct crew members when assigned as the lead technician
- Help ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of spray foam insulation experience
- Strong understanding of spray foam equipment and installation procedures
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in residential and commercial environments
- Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined areas
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Lead Technician Requirements
Lead Spray Foam Technicians should also be able to:
- Independently operate and manage a spray foam rig
- Direct and organize a crew on the jobsite
- Monitor application quality and production
- Maintain equipment and identify potential mechanical or application issues
- Communicate job requirements clearly to crew members
- Take responsibility for the overall execution of assigned projects

We are looking for dependable people who are willing to learn, take direction, and develop their skills over time. Previous insulation or construction experience is helpful, but we also value applicants who are eager to be trained, learn new techniques, and grow into positions with greater responsibility.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the insulation trade with an established and growing company.
Responsibilities
- Install fiberglass, cellulose, and spray foam insulation
- Prepare work areas before installation
- Follow project specifications and company installation standards
- Use insulation tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Follow all company safety procedures
